They also learn to write about art in a variety of contexts and develop skills in critical analysis and interpretation.

Media

The subject of Media enables students to be critical media users who will demand, and contribute to, a greater diversity of media in the future. Students become equipped to live in a global community which communicates through various technologies that combine still and moving images, words and sounds. Media students expand and build on their prior knowledge and understanding of Media through five interrelated concepts that are common in all forms of media communication: media languages, technologies, audiences, institutions and representations.

Film, Television and New Media
