Restaurant- "Bistro 4161"

 


 

“Bistro 4161” is the school's training restaurant and is part of the facilities of the Practical Arts department.  

The restaurant  facilitates  the completion of  either a Certificate II or III in Hospitality (Food and Beverage) by Year 11 and 12 students.   It will seat up to 50 customers comfortably if table service is required.   Students receive training in all aspects of hospitality including service of food , coffee and beverages preparation and operation of POS (eftpos) systems.  Students can also undertake a Certificate II in Hospitality (Kitchen Operations) in our hospitality kitchen enabling both front and back of house training to occur.

Staff and students are involved in many functions such as themed restaurant evenings, staff functions, school celebrations and meals for students on International Tours.

Younger students also benefit by using the restaurant facilities for parent morning teas and luncheons which are held as part of the junior school curriculum
